Junior Formula 500s Ready to Fire at Fast Friday Opener!
The next generation of Formula 500 stars are set to take centre stage this Friday night at the Perth Motorplex, as the Junior Formula 500s join the action for their first Fast Friday of the 2025/26 season.
Leading the nominations is defending series champion Max Lang (Max Lang Racing), who returns with his sights set on going back-to-back after a solid campaign last year saw him walk away with the overall win. Lang proved last weekend at Geraldton that he will be the benchmark once again, but he certainly won’t have it easy with plenty of young challengers ready to take the fight to him.
Among them is Raff Frisina (RF Motorsport), who finished third in last season’s Motorplex championship and showed impressive consistency across the year, while Leah Heeps (Leah Heeps Motorsport) will be one to watch: she scored two podiums at the Motorplex last season and will be hungry to turn that form into a breakthrough victory.
Also hitting the track on Friday night are newcomers Tyler Pigdon (Pigdon Race Team) and Brax Condren (Condren Motorsport) who were both impressive in the season opener last weekend, as was Deegan Wood (Woodys Racing) who put in some of the best laps of his short career.
Rounding out the field is Mason Whitehead (Whitehead Racing) who will be hoping to bounce back after a tough opening night to his season.
The Junior Formula 500s are sure to deliver fast-paced and fearless racing as they kick off another exciting season under the lights at the Perth Motorplex tomorrow night!
